ION ANVIL SOFTWARE PHIL BUCK CODE
Microsoft's online real-time checker spits back a page that says, "Your Product Key Code has been reported as lost or stolen." What? This COA has never left the customer's home, and the customer doesn't even know what the COA is for, so they would never "give it out" (not that kind of person).ġ. Phone-activation says, ".unable to verify Product Key Code." and something about ".used on a pre-installed operating system.".
I rebuilt system hoping problem was a glitch. I did not try "fixes"- at the time, none existed (I tried to find ANYTHING). Three years later (May 2006), customer installs WGA and now OS is reporting ".victim of software counterfeiting." Reinstalled (clean) a year later when motherboard was replaced. Product Key Code never used on any other computer.
